Gordon graduated at the University of Stellenbosch where he studied BCom Management Sciences. He majored in Investment Management, Financial Accounting and Financial Management.

He kicked off his career at the start of 2018 when he joined Optimum Investment Group where he has been working as an investment analyst ever since.
